Today we hear the call of Moses to lead his people from oppression to freedom. God promises to be with them as they journey to a new life. Our participation in Catholic Relief Services’ Operation Rice Bowl unites us in prayer, fasting, and giving to the millions of people throughout the world who are oppressed by poverty, injustice, war, disease, and lack of education and other opportunities.

Osage KC Fish Fry
5:30 - 7:30 pm -The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a fish fry every remaining Friday in February in the KC Hall. Cost is $8.50 for adults and $5 for ages 12 and under.

Confirmation Choir Practice!
The choir will be singing at the 7:00 pm Confirmation Mass on Wed, March 17, in Visitation. Practices will be today and 14 following the 8:30am Mass.

5:00 pm - Hunger Banquet - learn more about “Anawim”
(poorest of the poor) in our world. Steve Weis will share the his experience in Haiti. Social Justice Co. is sponsoring this event. Come for an evening of education and discussion!

Understanding Grief and Loss Support Group,
sponsored by Hospice of North Iowa, will start meeting in Charles City and Lake Mills. The Charles City sessions will begin on Monday, March 29, from 6:00 - 7:30pm at Floyd County Public Health. The Lake Mills sessions will begin on Tuesday, April 8, from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Salem Lutheran Church. These groups will meet every week for 7 weeks and there is no charge. To register contact Hospice of North Iowa at 800-297-4719.
