KENSETT — Cecil L. Plath, 89, of Kensett, died Friday (Dec. 30, 2005) at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Northwood.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Shell Rock Lutheran Church, 1406 Central in Northwood, with the Rev. Karl Hermanson officiating. Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, Highway 65 South, Northwood, and will continue one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

Pearl Plath, age 81 of Bolan, IA passed away Friday, June 17, 2005 at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Northwood. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 20 at the First Shell Rock Lutheran Church in Northwood, with Rev. Karl Hermanson officiating. Interment took place at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, IA.Pearl was born on Feb. 24, 1924 in Worth County, IA to Harry and Laura (Fergesen) Millis. She was confirmed at the Trinity Evangelical Church in Bolan on June 13, 1937. One July 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Cecil Plath. Pearl and Cecil enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, their family and many friends. She worked at Fleetguard several years and enjoyed the many friendships she made there.
She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Cecil; sister-in-law Ruth Millis; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, three brothers and one sister. Schroeder & Sites Fun-eral Home, Northwood was in charge of arrangements.
