Harrison C. Bailey, 96, died Monday evening April 30, 1973 at a Mason City nursing home. He was a retired cabinet maker.
Born April 2, 1877 at Scottland County, Mo. he was the son of Thomas and Rebecca (Garrett) Bailey. He was married to Mary Rosella Sears on March 3, 1901 in Green City, Mo. About 1921 they moved near Mason City and farmed until 1928 when they moved into Mason City and he worked for the Mason City Millworks as a cabinet maker. He retired in 1942.
He is survived by four daughters and five sons:

Mr Bailey was a longtime member of the free Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Thursday at the Rolling Acres Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Dallas L Ahnen paster officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Mason City Iowa. The family requested that memorials be given to the Free Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be grandsons:
